Kandla Port creates new cargo handling record on Oct. 28 Back to News & Events List


Kandla Port created a new cargo handling record on 28.10.16, when it handled 5.83 lakh MTs of cargo in a single day (24 hrs.) surpassing the previous best of 5.53 lakh MTs handled on 31.5.2010, at the port.

While achieving this feat, a cargo of 1.37 lakh MTs was handled at Kandla, while the remaining 4.46 lakh MTs was handled at Vadinar.
